The Clone Wars were a puppet conflict instigated by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine/The Emperor. They comprised of two factions: the Galactic Republic with its Grand Army of the Republic, comprised almost exclusively of clones and the Confederacy of Independant Systems, with their army of B-1 battle droids and B-2 Super Battle Droids.
