Historical Campaign is a game mode which only appears in Star Wars: Battlefront. It can played in single player or two player splitscreen.
It follows two eras - the Galactic Civil War and the Clone Wars. It allows the player(s) to re-enacte the battles from the Star Wars films, or the battles from just after or before the films.
Clone Wars[]
The Clone Wars campaign starts with the Battle of Naboo and then goes from just before Attack of the Clones to just before Revenge of the Sith.

Galactic Civil War[]
The Galactic Civil War campaign follows the key events and battles from A New Hope to Return of the Jedi. It starts with the Hunt for the Droids on Tatooine and ends with the destruction of the shield generator on Endor.
