In Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption IG-88 appears as a space and ground hero for the Zann Consortium. Not only is he a useful anti-bomber unit and a dangerous opponent on the ground, IG-88 has perhaps the most vital ability to the Consortium: the ability to hack into and destroy the Death Star. This permanently removes IG-88 and the Death Star from the particular Conquest, destroying the enemy planet and fleet along with it.
