The M-68 planetary magnapulse cannon was a weapon that fired an electromagnetic pulse that disabled ground vehicles within its blast radius for up to a minute. The weapon took two minutes to recharge.
The weapon did not affect infantry and was most vunerable to them, becasue of this many anti-infantry turrets were often placed around the cannon.
