During Kyle Katarn's investigation on Dark Troopers, he visited a Research Facility on Fest in order to collect more clues on the production on Dark Troopers.
During Moff Rebus's interrogation he eventually mentioned the test results on Fest. After Katarn captured Moff Rebus, he proved reluctant in his interrogation but mentioned something about 'test results on the planet Fest'.
The mission[]
Kyle followed a trench that lead to the main facility. There Katarn encountered an Imperial Officer who held a code card. Kyle was able to reach the classified section of the facility by using this. Phrik alloys were tested in this area. By controlling a complexly controlled rotating bridge, he managed to gain access to a platform where the alloy was.
Kyle was unable to take the same route back to his ship so reached the main entrance of the facility. He then got to the gate controls and, eventually, to his ship.
